A road accident was recorded a few minutes ago on the Levan-Tepelena axis, in the Poçem area. Two vehicles collided with each other, leaving two passengers injured. The injured were immediately transported to the regional hospital in Fier, where according to medical sources their lives are out of danger.
Police forces and an investigation team have arrived at the scene and are working to determine the causes and dynamics of the incident. It is initially suspected that bad weather and wet roads may have contributed to the accident.
Bystanders provided first aid to the injured until the police and ambulance arrived. The collision caused significant material damage to both vehicles.
