
The Criminal Court of Tirana has ordered the security measure "prison arrest" for 21 of the 22 people arrested two days ago after a crackdown on a criminal group that was selling various drugs in areas of Tirana. Only one was given a lighter security measure.
Two employees of "ONE Albania" were also left in prison, Erald Sina, Head of the Offices and Property Department at ONE Albania, and Artan Pullazi, Team Leader at the same company.
Also in prison will be: Renaldo Dalipi, Engelbert Pjetri, Armandi Hajdini, Olsi Mici, Fatjon Cela (Çela), Xhon Boci, Laert Murataj, Gentjan Vercani, Valerjos Bushi, Olkid Hajdari, Dylber Alijaj, Angjelos Mema, Majdi Musa, Jurgen Hekurani, Erdison Gjella, Abdurahman Bollati, Klodian Rrucaj, Indri Nakaj and Genti Kraja.
While a milder security measure was assigned to Blerim Mali because he has a blind mother and a paralyzed brother.
These individuals were arrested two days ago after a raid on their drug distribution group in several areas of the capital. Police seized 10 kg of cannabis and 100 doses, about 500 grams of cocaine, 5 vehicles, 28 cell phones, 6 electronic scales and 3,000 euros.
The investigations revealed that the group was mainly active in: Bllok, Kamëz, Laprakë, Selitë, New Tirana, Shkozë, Ali Demi, Xhamllik, New Bazaar, Red School, Astir, Myslym Shyri and the Paris Municipality. The narcotics were sold in bars, tobacconists, taxis, and disguised as various delivery vehicles.
The one driving the taxi was Olsi Mici, while Erdison Gjella was driving the pizza delivery motorcycle, registered with an international brand.
