Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, has provided details on Altin Ndoc's sensational escape from the Durrës hospital. Lala said that there were early attempts to release Ndoc and stated that he was very valuable to the organization of Franc and Hajdar Çopja. According to her, communications on SKY ECC have shown that they were concerned about Ndoc's capture, as they had no one to carry out the murders on their behalf.
"I think the escape is well thought out. The escape of a person of such caliber cannot be easily accomplished. He is considered the armed wing of the organization of Franc and Hajdar Çopja and is accused of four murders.
No one has answered how, since May 2020, Altin Ndoci has been isolated in the Durrës detention center, which is not high security, but almost low, like a cavalcade. There has been no in-depth investigation by the prosecution, launched in 2020, into how the risk and danger he posed was assessed. There has been no ongoing assessment of the risk he posed or a profile prepared by a psychologist to determine whether he had a tendency to escape.
On the day of the escape, I think the protocol was not followed. First, two detainees were escorted to the hospital by six Prison Police officers. According to the protocol, 2–3 officers are needed for one detainee, but when there are serious charges, an increased number is needed, elite prison forces must be mobilized and the State Police must be notified.
Secondly, when you go to the hospital, how is it possible that the Durrës Police or the State Police, despite the fact that the Durrës hospital has two wards adapted for detainees or convicts, did not have even a patrol posted at the entrance and exit? How is it possible that a hospital practically transformed into a detention center does not have minimal security measures?
When Altin Ndoci escaped, he had completed the examinations, waited to have his heart examined, went to the toilet and, the moment he came out, hit two employees, left and a car was waiting for him outside.
Why wasn't there a complete road blockade? Why wasn't a drone deployed, a search dog deployed, or a helicopter control deployed? A person of this profile, from one of the most notorious organizations in the country, escaped without any serious reaction?
Why was there no reaction for Albanian citizens? Financial rewards could have been made available for information, calls for caution, not to open doors, and so on. The entire chain, from A to Z, has not worked.
Altin Ndoci was arrested in 2020, following the testimony of Klevis Alla, who claimed that he was involved in two murders. This testimony was dropped after Nuredin Dumani's repentance. What struck me is that, when the communications on SKY were analyzed, the circles of the organization of Franc and Hajdar Çopja appear concerned, because they considered him the man who 'finished their job'.
