SPAK is investigating the criminal group led by Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiri for two more serious criminal incidents. It concerns the copying of data from the TIMS system, which also involves Ervina Gjana, a State Police officer and confidant of Ilir Proda. The latter's apartment has been searched by SPAK. All the threads in this incident lead SPAK to Agasi and Beqiri.
The mysterious disappearance of former AKSH deputy director Daniel Shima is another incident under investigation by SPAK, for which two businessmen are being investigated and which is suspected to be related to tenders. Senior police officials are suspected of having directly participated in Shima's 10-hour abduction. These incidents are being investigated in a separate proceeding.
SPAK hit the Agasi-Beqiri group after, through hostage-taking, blackmail, and violence against businessmen, they forced them to give up AKSH tenders, as was the case with Gerond Meçe.
