A person was found dead in Llapashtica, Podujevo, on Saturday evening, shortly after police were notified of gunshots.
As announced by the Kosovo Police, the medical team determined the death of a man at the scene.
"Today at around 19:30, we received information about gunshots in the village of Llapashticë, Podujeva. The necessary police units immediately arrived at the scene, where they found a person with no signs of life. The death of the male victim was confirmed by the medical team at the scene," said Flora Ahmeti, the spokesperson for the Pristina region Police, for KOHĖN.
Ahmeti said that police investigators, in coordination with the state prosecutor, have launched an investigation to shed light on and clarify all circumstances related to the case.
