A 30-year-old man has been arrested by the Himara police, while another is wanted for several thefts in the Borsh area. According to the police, the 30-year-old is accused of stealing money and personal belongings from several apartments, as well as stealing products from markets in considerable amounts.
"The investigative structures of the Himara Police Commissariat, within the framework of the work to prevent and combat crimes against property and wealth, made it possible to uncover and document several cases of theft in Borsh, as a result of which the citizen was detained:
Xh. M., 30 years old, resident of Borsh.
The investigations conducted have revealed that this citizen, in collaboration with another citizen for whom work is ongoing to capture him, has committed several thefts in the Borsh area, specifically:
On 28.06.2025, he stole various products from a market, worth 180,000 lekë;
On 18.08.2025, he stole an amount of 150,000 lek and personal belongings from the apartment of a citizen;
On 22.08.2025, he stole a sum of money of 100,000 lek and some documents from the apartment of a citizen;
"On 27.08.2025, he stole an amount of 130,000 lek from a citizen's apartment," the police announced.
As material evidence, 1 "Volkswagen" vehicle, suspected of being used to commit thefts, and 1 mobile phone were seized.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Theft".
