Boyken Bregovina ended up in handcuffs as part of Operation "Skadenca" after being suspected of introducing expired or contraband medicines into the market.
Investigations revealed that he stored various medications in his apartment without tax receipts and a significant portion of them were expired, which he then put on the market, supplying pharmacies in the city of Fier.
Following the information provided, the Court ordered a search of Bregovina's apartment, where a total of 4,289 boxes of various medications were found, a significant amount of which was expired and the rest without a tax receipt.
The 42-year-old Bregovina is charged with "Production and trade in counterfeit or dangerous medicines and medical devices", "Hiding income", "Storage or storage of contraband goods" and "Trade and transportation of contraband goods".
