SPAK and BKH are conducting inspections as part of the ongoing investigations against Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, who is under investigation for tender abuses.
The searches were conducted at the home of Arbër Abazi, who has family ties to Belinda Balluku. Sources indicate that Abazi's office and apartment were searched, while there is also a decision for a personal search.
As part of the investigations into the Ring Road tenders, searches were also carried out in the homes of other businessmen.
Balluku is a defendant in the tender for the construction of the Llogara Tunnel, while the 7 lots of the Great Ring Road and the concession of the Thumanë-Kashar Road are being investigated.
