A 38-year-old man who, in 2019, raped and threatened with a firearm the husband of the judge in charge of the process against the criminal group he was part of is being extradited from Germany.
As a result of close cooperation between Interpol Tirana structures and their counterparts in Germany, the procedure for the extradition to Albania of the internationally wanted Albanian citizen, Fabio Ballabani alias Fabio Zyberaj, 38 years old, was finalized.
In 2024, the Criminal Court of Kosovo assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense "Assaults on family members of a person performing a state duty", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group.
