41 protesters have been escorted to all police stations in the capital, of which 19 were escorted to Police Station No. 1 alone, said the head of the Democratic parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi. He announced that among those escorted there is a considerable number of minors and a person with disabilities, who was treated with medical delay after the reaction of the Democratic Party.
"Only after they were informed, was the person who was violated during the escort allowed to receive medical assistance. Three minors are being held illegally inside that enclosure. The DP lawyer followed the procedures," said Bardhi. He added that no legal violations by the protesters were found at this police station.
Bardhi accused the police of violent behavior and attacks on Muslim believers inside the mosque. He also commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's reaction to the incident, describing it as "anger and hatred towards protesting citizens."
