The Police Supervision Agency (Vlora - Gjirokastra Region) has arrested in flagrante delicto the police officer AM, acting Head of the Kakavija Green Border at the Gjirokastra DVKM, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Violation of road traffic rules".
His arrest was carried out after yesterday while driving a vehicle he had an accident with citizen KH, who died as a result. The first investigative actions have been carried out, such as examining the scene of the incident, seizing the vehicle, as well as taking a blood sample for toxicological examination. The verification with the alcohol test resulted negative.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra.
