The Police Supervision Agency arrests police officer Inspector ML, on duty as a Service Trooper at the Security Block in Tirana, for supplying drug doses to the arrested.
He is suspected of committing the criminal offenses of "Abuse of office", "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Failure to report a crime".
His arrest was made possible after confidential information from the Tirana Regional Directorate of the AMP revealed that this employee was planning to meet to purchase several doses of the narcotic substance, suspected to be cocaine, with the aim of selling it later in the premises of the Security Block where he was working. During the physical search, a dose of the narcotic substance was found, which after weighing resulted in the amount of 0.4 grams and 70 euros, seized as material evidence.
The materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.
