A serious accident occurred on Monday afternoon on the Egnatia highway, near the city of Komotini in eastern Greece, where three Albanian citizens lost their lives.
According to preliminary information published by "Protothema", a truck collided with two vehicles. The truck driver was seriously injured in the collision and was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
There were four people in one of the vehicles, who were also taken to the hospital.
The collision caused a large fire, which spread to surrounding rural areas, worsening the situation and making it difficult for emergency services to intervene.
