
Saranda police have arrested two brothers, accused of seriously injuring a woman and her son, an incident that occurred on Sunday afternoon in neighborhood no. 4 of the city.
The fight broke out after a parking dispute, where Romeo Laze, 45, and Fabion Laze, 39, owners of a car wash, hit mother and son, NA and EA, with hard objects and punches. At around 17:45, at least 6 people were involved in the conflict. The victims were urgently transported to Saranda Hospital, where they received first aid for multiple head and body wounds, but their lives were not in danger.
The police initially escorted four people, and after investigations arrested the two brothers in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "intentional serious injury in collaboration".

In May 2011, they were accused of assaulting the two Avdiu brothers with sharp objects.
In October 2014, Fabion Laze was arrested for “production and sale of narcotics”.
In December 2015, Romeo Laze was arrested for “domestic violence” and other intentional damage.
In August 2021, Romeo Laze was arrested again for “production and sale of narcotics”.
In February 2025, the Saranda Prosecution Office seized two properties, two vehicles and a business belonging to Romeo Laze.
Fabion Laze also has criminal records abroad in the field of narcotics.
Police are continuing their investigations to fully uncover the incident and identify other people involved in the conflict.
