Following the death of renowned designer Giorgio Armani at the age of 91, two handwritten wills dated March and April of this year have been unsealed. The documents, officially unsealed on September 9 by notary Elena Terrenghi, reveal the fashion icon's final wishes for the future of the Giorgio Armani brand.
Armani had no children, and his legacy is expected to pass to his three grandchildren as well as his close partner, Leo Dell'Orco. The Armani Foundation, founded by the designer himself a decade ago, is also expected to play a key role.
The estate includes 99.9% of the fashion group and luxury properties in Italy and abroad, as well as high-value works of art. The full contents of the wills have not yet been made public.
