Planned negotiations between Iran and the US in Pakistan have been temporarily suspended due to Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the United States' failure to respect the ceasefire.
Tasnim and other Iranian agencies close to the Revolutionary Guard have denied reports in some media outlets that claimed that the Iranian delegation had already arrived in Islamabad for talks with the Americans.
Al-Jazeera points out that the Iranian delegation has not left Tehran for the talks planned this weekend, arguing that as long as Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue, negotiations cannot take place.
The continuation of the attacks has created uncertainty about the progress of the talks and, in addition, the American side has made changes to a 10-point plan that was previously considered feasible.
