From January 1, 2027, Greece will ban the use of social networks for the 15-year-old age group.
The news was announced by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. He also explained that the regulation will enter into force in the summer of 2026 and “Greece will be among the first countries to take this initiative.”
" We decided to take a difficult but necessary step: banning access to social media for children under 15," Mitsotakis said.
