An accident resulting in the death of a young man was recorded at around 03:00 this morning, on the "Fier-Vlora" highway, in the Novosela area.
According to preliminary data, the vehicle with license plate AB009GN collided with the side protective barriers of the road. About 30 meters from the point of collision, police services found the driver of the vehicle, Albi Hoxha, born on 07.08.2002, resident of Fier, without signs of life.
Police report that the young man, AH, 24 years old, was driving towards the village of Akërni when the vehicle was involved in an accident. The collision was fatal, killing him on the spot.
Authorities are on the scene and are conducting investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine the cause of the accident. It is also being verified whether other people were in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The investigative team continues to work on fully documenting the tragic episode.
