The famous Vlora comedian, Mane Lumani, has passed away at the age of 79. Considered one of the four legendary parodists of Vlora, Lumani left an important mark on the Albanian comedy scene. He had not spoken since 2004, after a surgical intervention in his throat, where his vocal cords were removed due to a tumor mass.
He began his artistic career in 1974 as an amateur actor in the Ullishta company, where he stood out for his talent in humor and imitative skills. The formation of the group 4 Parodists of Vlorë, together with Agron Hoxha, Afrim Agalliu and Muhamet Lika, marked a turning point for Albanian humor.
The group became known for its satirical and ironic parodies that reflected the reality of the time. Mane Lumani remains an unforgettable figure of Albanian culture, with a valuable contribution to the performing arts.
