
Long lines continue to form throughout the day near the QSUT hospital pharmacy, where citizens withdraw reimbursed drugs or medications necessary for the treatment of serious illnesses, including cancer.
Elderly people, women and children are forced to wait for long periods of time to obtain necessary medicines, often in difficult conditions and without sufficient space to sit or take shelter.
The situation remains problematic and shows that the public pharmaceutical service is still unable to cope with the influx of patients who depend on these vital medications every day.
