At the Oncology Hospital at the QSUT, where cancer patients from all over the country are treated, the situation continues to be problematic.
Patients face long waiting lines every day and are often forced to stay outside the hospital premises, as the interior lacks minimal conditions — such as benches and sufficient space to sit.
This difficult situation further complicates their coping with the disease, at a time when they need care, dignity, and support, not fatigue and waiting on their feet.
