Former Socialist Party MP, Xhemal Qefalia, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Interior.
Xhemal Qefalia ran in the May 11 parliamentary elections, but failed to secure the necessary votes to return to the Assembly.
Thus, Rama has thought of finding her a job, making her deputy to Minister Albana Koçiu. The latter is in a difficult situation after the assassination attempt in Rinas, where she not only refuted her statements about security in the Commission, but also proved once again that members of the police structures have links to organized crime.
This is the next case where the prime minister rewards former MPs, appointing them to leadership positions or as deputy ministers, and thus turning the public administration into a safe haven for socialists.
