Erion Veliaj continues his attacks on the special prosecutor Ols Dado, who investigated him and filed 13 criminal charges against him. Recently, the mayor from the Durrës prison has sued the institution of the President of the Republic and the prosecutor Ols Dado. Through the lawsuit, he seeks the declaration of the absolute invalidity of the decree appointing the notary as a prosecutor, when this was not allowed by the law of the time without first completing the Magistrate's School.
The lawsuit has been submitted to the Tirana First Instance Administrative Court and is expected to be reviewed in the coming weeks. Since his arrest, Veliaj has targeted Dadon with accusations and attacks and is now pursuing the case in court, hoping to find procedural grounds for the charges to be dismissed.
