Pedagogue Ermal Hasimja has reacted to the news that his name has been suggested by the opposition to be a candidate for mayor of Tirana. In a Facebook post, Hasimja says that he feels appreciated that his name is on the list of candidates but will consider it after receiving a concrete proposal, leaving it to be noted that so far he has not yet discussed it with any of the opposition parties.
"I feel undoubtedly appreciated that my name has been proposed on the list of potential opposition candidates for Tirana and I thank those who have proposed or supported the idea. When I receive (if I receive) an official proposal I will be able to think about it and make a decision."
"I am also glad that the other two names on the list, Florian Hackaj and Edlira Cepani, are people I highly value and who would be excellent candidates for the opposition," Hasimja writes.
Pedagodu is one of the names proposed by Agron Shehaj's Mundësia party during today's meeting with the DP working group consisting of Belind Këlliçi, Ilir Alimehmeti and Flamur Noka.
