Ervin Salianji appeared this afternoon at Sali Berisha's podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office. The DP's camera captured the former DP MP standing in one of the last rows of the Democrats' protest. The reasons for his participation are unknown, as for the past week he, together with Ilir Alimehmeti, have been at the forefront of a movement demanding the reform of the DP. Its culmination was a successful meeting with the DP structures in Durrës, while another is planned in the coming days in Gjirokastër.
His participation in Sali Berisha's rostrum is likely related to the synchronization of the Democrats' battle against Edi Rama's government. Although the official DP has clearly begun distancing itself from him and Alimehmet, not considering their movement as "external" and not integral to the DP structures.
