The former head of the Democratic Party in Durrës, Osman Stafa, and one of the students of December 1990, while participating in the commemorative activity in honor of Azem Hajdari, emphasized the necessity of cleansing the Democratic Party.
In his speech, Stafa used a strong metaphor to illustrate the need for change within the political force. He said that the DP needs understanding with each other, tolerance and to be more determined.
"We have gone through several phases, but not every phase has shown that the man matures. We need more understanding with each other, tolerance and to be more determined. The last thing I would suggest is a principle, if a family member leaves for dinner and returns in the morning, he is no longer part of the family. I cleanse that family member. We need to cleanse ourselves, Dr. Berisha, we need to be ourselves, Albanians hope and believe in us," said Stafa.
