Adriatik Lapaj reacted to the election of Endri Shabani as People's Advocate, with whom he ran in coalition in the last elections.
Lapaj called Shabani "a servant of the system and of Edi Rama" and added:
"Every day at 5:00 PM we meet at the Prime Minister's Office! After voting like a skunk for his puppet for the People's Advocate, Edi of PANGOPUR was seen wandering around the government offices like a spoon in the night. Today, the People's Advocate was not elected, but the servant of the system and Edi Rama was rewarded. Edi Rama, you have our office in front of you."
Endri Shabani was elected Ombudsman with 85 votes in favor and 3 against in the Assembly, among six candidates in the race. The process was accompanied by debates, while the opposition abandoned the session, accusing the majority of "political bargaining".
