Sali Berisha has used the 35th anniversary of the founding of the DP to take revenge on former ambassador Yuri Kim right from the DP's courtyard, from where Kim warned the Democrats that they will "eat grass" if they continue with the non-women. In his speech to those present, Berisha stated that their memories, works and legacy remain the pride of the democrats.
While mentioning some of the main figures of the DP, including those who are no longer with us, but who with their contribution laid the foundations of democracy in Albania, Berisha focused particularly on the figure of the former speaker of parliament, Pjetër Arbnori, whom he considered the Mandela of Europe.
