Klodian Braho is expected to be the new head of SPAK. It must be admitted that the four candidacies, which will today pass more through the filter of internationals than through that of the KLP, already have their favorite. Braho has mainly received the "blessing" of the Americans, not because of the fact that he makes a professional difference or for other reasons with the other three colleagues.
Unlike three years ago, when Yuri Kim had to take the reins in his own hands due to the political balance of the candidates to lead SPAK, this time it seems that the criterion is the regional one and perhaps a little bit the gender one. While the US has been divided between Klodian Braho and Adnan Xholi, it seems that the latter has "lost ground" due to his origin from Dibra. Not infrequently, segments of the government have articulated the "Dibra gang", referring to the area where Altin Dumani, Adnan Xholi and former ministers of Edi Rama come from.
Meanwhile, EU representatives have insisted in their choices for the head of SPAK that it be a woman, in this case Doloreza Musabelliu. A prosecutor with integrity and a lady, but it seems that Klodian Braho has the best chances this time.
The process is expected to start this Thursday at 9 am, while the interest is great. There is no room for the media in the room where the interviews with the candidates will take place, as there will be representatives of the diplomatic corps. The four candidates for the head of SPAK are Adnan Xholi, Doloreza Musabelliu, Klodian Braho and Elvin Gokaj, who have officially submitted their candidacy to head the Special Prosecutor's Office.
