Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted again regarding the suspension from office by the GJKKO decision of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Belinda Balluku, a decision which he has appealed to the Constitutional Court.
Through another video on Facebook, Rama stated that the decision creates serious blockages in the functioning of the government and in the processes of signing official acts. The Prime Minister emphasized that the situation has affected important issues, including the agreement with Canada on air flights.
"The examples I bring, I bring to show how excessive the suspension of a minister is. A suspended minister not only cannot sign anything himself. But he prevents anyone else from making a decision and signing it. Therefore, it is absurd as a concept because it blocks the entire decision-making chain for the sectors that the minister covers, and among the things that are blocked is the agreement with Canada on air flights. But how will we deal with the other 35 government decisions," he said
