Today, the two governments, Albanian and Italian, will hold a meeting, in which it is said that 16 agreements will be signed. But more than the high number of these agreements, the "quality" and the areas they will include remain a mystery.
For this, the head of government, Edi Rama, has shared a status where he writes that "another historic day in Albania's international relations, the first joint meeting between the two governments, which takes place in Rome to pave the way for 16 new concrete cooperation agreements within the framework of the close strategic partnership with our precious western neighbor."
It remains to be seen whether Rama will accept agreements that facilitate the creation of migrant centers in Albania, just as he allowed the creation of centers in Shëngjin. Or most certainly the use of natural resources, such as water.
