Prime Minister Edi Rama stated in the podcast "Flasim" that the recent changes in the government, presented at the meeting of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, were foreseen as part of a new approach to the functioning of the government team. He added that, in other circumstances and due to the exceptional results at work, Belinda Balluku would not have been subject to changes.
“The changes are foreseen, but if the circumstances had been different, Balluku would not have changed his position due to the extraordinary results,” Rama said. He added that he would speak more broadly after reading the report of the Mandates Council.
During the meeting, Rama said that the ministers reported on their performance and there was a discussion on the relationship between politics and justice, emphasizing that, although some positive results have been achieved, issues remain that require addressing.
For the road collapse: Situation management and terrain stabilization
Rama also commented on the situation of the collapsed road, emphasizing that the State Police has guaranteed a 24-hour presence for the safety of citizens, while the works to open alternative roads and geotechnically stabilize the terrain continue without interruption. Engineering teams are working to ensure in-depth stabilization, focusing on a sustainable solution and the development of a new strategic infrastructure.
"This is a typical example of the difference between reality and the truth of Albania, which persists despite the efforts of those who want to pull it down," Rama said, emphasizing the determination not to stop the country's progress.
