SPAK Head Altin Dumani and Prosecutor General Olsian Çela have refused the invitation to participate in the first session for the constitution of the Parliament emerging from the May 11, 2025 elections.
The two chairs reserved for them remained empty, as was noted in photos distributed to the media from the plenary session hall. The reasons for Duman and Çela's absence have not been made public.
Tensions were noted in the first session of the new legislature of the Albanian Parliament, after the opposition blocked the rostrum, causing the session to be postponed to 5:00 PM.
