The Ethics Secretariat has suspended Democratic Party MPs Gazmet Bardhi and Klevis Balliu from Parliament for 10 days.
The decision came after the request of the SP group, who requested the expulsion of their Democratic colleagues after clashes in last Thursday's plenary session.
The Secretariat did not act in the same way with the leader of the socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, for whom the DP had requested his exclusion from participation in committees and plenary sessions for 60 days.
Although Balla was the cause of the clashes in the Assembly, the Secretariat has not taken any measures against him.
We recall that the March 6 session was engulfed in intense debates this afternoon, which led to the interruption of the plenary session.
The head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, speaking on the podium said: "Really, we didn't have a phone number for you to call and say 'Hey, what do you think about this?'. 0900, I have this number for you, Albana."
This statement immediately prompted the reaction of Gazment Bardhi, who stood up, approached the podium and addressed Balla with the words: "Go tell your wife that! Filth, you brazen one, your sister's number is 0900. You scumbag man!".
Although both sides are equally guilty of the vocabulary used, it seems that this is not the case for the Ethics Secretariat, which is in the hands of the majority.
