SPAK's "terrifying" balance sheet for 2025: 45 million euros of seized assets, cryptocurrencies and senior officials under investigation
SPAK's annual report for 2025 was obtained by VNA and the figures show a significant increase in crackdowns on high-level corruption and organized crime. During this year, the Special Structure has achieved record results, ranging from seizing assets worth millions of euros to investigating the most important political figures in the country.
Over 45 million euros in frozen assets and cryptocurrencies
One of the most striking figures is the total value of seized and confiscated assets, which amounts to 45.4 million euros. The vast majority of this amount, around 43.5 million euros, are seized assets awaiting final decisions.
