The BASHKË Movement has formalized the candidacy of its leader, Arlind Qori, for the November 9 elections in Tirana, presenting him as "the real alternative for the city."
In a statement to the public, BASHKA describes Qori as “the voice and the man who for more than a decade has spoken every day about the city and its people – from parks and schools, to water, air, housing, public transportation and the fight against corruption.”
According to the movement, these elections are not only an opportunity to change Tirana according to the needs of citizens, but also "a battle of ideas that will resonate throughout Albania."
Arlind Qori also participated in the May 14, 2023 elections, where he competed against Erion Veliaj of the Socialist Party and Belind Këlliç of the opposition coalition. In that race, Qori came third, securing over 13,000 votes, a result that was considered important for a new political force.
