The chairman of the "Albania Becomes" movement, Adriatik Lapaj, immediately after the end of the protest by the Democratic Party and its allies, returned to the Prime Minister's Office to continue the protest started 16 days ago by the movement he leads.
From the square in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where he re-placed the chairs removed earlier during the blue headquarters protest, Lapaj made a strong political statement, not sparing even criticism of the traditional opposition's way of protesting.
According to him, "the regime cannot be defeated with capsules," but only through continued civic resistance and perseverance. Lapaj emphasized that Albania is facing a common enemy and that party divisions must be put aside.
"It is time to save Albania and confront Rama's regime. Alone he can defeat us all, but united we can succeed," declared Lapaj.
He called on citizens to confront each other as citizens and not as party militants, demanding the resignation of the government and the creation of a caretaker government that will lead the country towards new elections.
"We have a common enemy of the Republic, which is Edi Rama. We may have different opinions and political colors, but we have a common problem. Albania has been taken hostage and only united can we change history," he said.
Lapaj invited citizens to gather in front of the Prime Minister's Office every day at 6:00 PM to join the protest, while warning that the next strategy will be made public the next day.
