The leader of the 'Albania Becomes' party, Adriatik Lapaj, has come out against Berisha, criticizing the DP's political action for boycotting the Territorial Reform Commission.
Lapaj stated that the DP should not leave the institutions, as according to him, it favors Prime Minister Rama, as happened after the boycott of the 2019 local elections.
Lapaj added that the opposition must wage its battle both within institutions, but also in the square in front of the Prime Minister's Office through protests.
I think the biggest mistake is when it came out the first time. It cannot come out of the institutions. We must fight on every front and we must fight to prevent institutions from being delegitimized. In 2019, these people came out of the municipal elections, they held the elections alone, they took over the municipalities, they took over 20 thousand jobs, they did the territorial reform themselves.
"When you make up your mind that you will fight politically with your opponent, you don't fight by giving him every legal mechanism on the table. You fight by standing strong there and on the other hand by surrounding him and fighting him in the square," he said for "Report TV".
