A plenary session has begun at the Constitutional Court, where the appeal of the former mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, is being reviewed. Veliaj himself is present at this session, while the legal representatives of the Presidency have requested the declaration of the Constitutional Court's incompetence to review this appeal.
"Cancel the decision to include the decree in the subject matter of this review, we want space for our arguments," the legal representative of the Presidency said during the session.
Following this request, the panel withdrew to make a decision regarding the request submitted by the Presidency.
