The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has confirmed the political alliance with Adriatik Lapaj, announcing that the DP's and Lapaj's protests will take place in parallel, with the square in front of the Prime Minister's Office being divided on Monday afternoon.
During a conversation with citizens on social networks, Berisha stated that Adriatik Lapaj is welcome at the protest that the Democratic Party will organize on December 22, emphasizing that the DP does not exclude him nor does it prevent his presence.
Berisha publicly praised Lapaj's protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, describing it as a just and legitimate civic act.
"Lapaj is not excluded from our protest and I salute him and I have saluted his gesture, his act, and his just protest," Berisha said.
The DP leader's statement comes at a time when opposition protests are intensifying and signals open coordination between opposition forces outside and within traditional party structures, with a common focus on opposing the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
