Hysen Kadiu, former head of the Kavaja branch and the most voted in the DP primaries, has responded to Sali Berisha regarding the accusations, according to him, made against him for collaborating with the SP during the May 11 elections. In a Facebook status, Kadiu publishes the activities in support of the DP in the last electoral campaign.

Today, at the Presidency meeting, Chairman Sali Berisha, among other things, made accusations against me that during the May 11 election campaign I worked for Edi Rama and did not make any contribution to the DP.
I say to Dr. Berisha and all those who are close to him and have misinformed him, that my activity during the campaign is public on my Facebook. As well, better than that, this is proven by the citizens of Kavaja and the surrounding areas, who during the campaign, before and after it, we were in constant contact and meetings.
Our battle is not with the DP and the Democrats, but with Edi Rama. Anyone who tries to cast aspersions on my personal contribution and all those who want the best for the DP are only interested in their own seat.
Democrats today need unity more than ever, not division, not organization, not "internal enemies." Nothing bad comes to the DP from criticism and reorganization. Like water that has been stagnant for many years, it needs refreshing, and even those who remain silent before Sali Berisha say this in a low voice.
While we have decided to say it out loud, before it's too late.
