Sali Berisha has harshly attacked Top Channel a day after the interview with former AKSHI director Mirlinda Karçanaj, accusing the television of manipulation and protection of Edi Rama's government.
In a statement from the DP headquarters, Berisha used harsh tones towards the television management.
"Top Channel, which is run by an unrestrained gambler, uses the millions it steals from you with Edi Rama and the ministers to deceive you," he declared.
Berisha called on citizens to "reject with contempt the deceptions" and use social networks to oppose what he called the "free speech mafia."
According to the leader of the DP, the interview broadcast the night before was intended to cover up "Edi Rama's deceptions," as according to him, the media and SPAK documents have refuted the prime minister's claims.
