Edi Rama, in a joint statement with his Estonian counterpart Kristen Michal in Tallinn, praised Estonia's support for Albania's European integration and stressed the need for cooperation in technology and artificial intelligence.
Rama said that Albania considers Estonia a model in digitalization and innovation, emphasizing that the country aims to further advance online services and the use of artificial intelligence. He announced that cooperation is expected to extend to education, with the exchange of experiences in preparing young people.
He emphasized that Albania and Estonia share similar historical experiences and a common stance on protecting democracy and against destabilizing foreign influences.
During the statement, Rama also mentioned Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating that "we have no sympathy for Putin in Tirana" and that Estonians will feel at home in Albania.
