The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, stated that the meeting of the DP National Council was delayed due to the protection of the Albanian vote.
At the DP National Council meeting, the first after the heavy defeat in the May 11 elections, Berisha said that anyone who claims that Rama won the elections is, intentionally or unintentionally, justifying the electoral farce.
The leader of the DP expressed his conviction that the majority would not be able to win the elections if they did not use the main "three pillars", which were budget funds, criminal gangs, and the electoral administration.
Berisha also said that so far the DP has shown 'muscle', but admitted that they have not done enough to oust Edi Rama from power. He promised to escalate the protests to hunger strikes or powerful demonstrations.
