Sali Berisha does not have a problem with Altin Dumani. It is not enough for him that during his leadership, SPAK managed to compile investigative files for most of Edi Rama's ministers, including the deputy prime minister. Even the file of Ergys Agas, who is so close to Prime Minister Rama, does not seem to satisfy the leader of the Democratic Party.
Even today, Sali Berisha has not spared labeling and attacks on the former head of the Special Prosecution. But this did not happen by chance. The insults came when he was asked about the property investigations that SPAK is conducting against him and his family.
Berisha did not deny the fact that Belind Këlliçi was summoned to SPAK to be questioned regarding the financing of the December 20 Assembly. However, he himself, in his capacity as the number one of Ritseti, did not mention any concrete facts about the expenses of the December 2022 Assembly, which de facto returned Sali Berisha to the head of the Democratic Party.
Sali Berisha claims that the investigation into his assets has, procedurally speaking, been concluded. But no one, except SPAK prosecutors, can say for sure what is still being investigated. Meanwhile, one after another, the organizers of the Re-establishment Assembly are being summoned to be questioned about the huge expenses of this organization, expenses that Berisha had promised to make public.
A promise that, to date, has never been kept.
