Today at 9:30, the Special Court of Appeal will review Belinda Balluku's appeal against the security measure "suspension from exercising functions".
Lawyers claim that such a measure has no effect, as Balluku is no longer in the position of Deputy Prime Minister or Minister of Infrastructure.
On April 9, the Supreme Court will consider the appeal of the former number two in the government against the ban on leaving the country. Balluku is under investigation by SPAK for pre-determining the winning companies of road tenders worth millions of euros. Maxhoranca previously rejected SPAK's request for permission to arrest the former deputy prime minister.
