The Central Election Commission has officially responded to the request of MP Erion Braçe, documenting his electoral history in all voting processes for the Albanian Parliament since 1996. The official document provided by VNA, signed by the State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, presents a panorama of popular support for Braçe, highlighting the high figures he has secured over the decades.
The CEC does not distribute official information on Brace's first two electoral battles, 1996 and 1997, because it did not exist as an institution, but it does provide complete data on how many votes the MP won when he ran directly, or how many the SP received in the areas where Brace had responsibility.
Year 2001: 59.08%
Year 2005: 40.07%
Year 2009: 48.3%
Year 2013: 45%
Year 2017: 57.2%
Year 2021: 52.8% (15,622 personal votes)
Brace requested this official information from the CEC, without yet making public his ambition to run for the Municipality of Tirana next year, while the SP has planned Ogerta Manastirliu (at least according to Rama's last public statement).
