There is no authoritarianism in the SP, but there is imposition - this is what Erion Braçe declared today on TCH, after a long series of statements in which he spoke about the problems of the SP and his ambition to run for the Municipality of Tirana.
Neither meat nor fish, we are well but we have problems, the old socialist failed to clearly articulate the real problems facing the SP. Erion Braçe's dissatisfactions, articulated superficially, failed to get to the core of the problem: the authoritarianism of Edi Rama and the way he leads the SP. The SP deputy did not say this clearly at any time.
Whether he fears Rama, whether he needs Rama for his candidacy, remains to be seen. But a long-time figure in a political party like the SP should perhaps articulate himself clearly and not hide behind the sentence: "I think there is freedom within the SP."
If there is freedom, then Erion Braçe does not have to go and complain about the party's troubles to Grida, but to find a way within the party.
Otherwise, these constructive criticisms of a party that has only one name, that of Edi Rama, are smoke to make the difference between those who obey Rama silently and those who obey him by giving an interview. And Erion Braçe belongs to the latter category.
