Prime Minister Edi Rama has released the latest episode of his podcast "Flasim", where he addressed the opposition's accusations that negotiations with the European Union have been blocked. Rama called this a "big lie", while emphasizing that Albania is continuing the integration process normally.
According to him, the parliamentary minority is trying to undermine every achievement of the government, covering the situation in the country with "tar and mud".
"It has become difficult to get direct information, especially when there are those who do everything they can to cover Albania's affairs with the mud of despair. Albania has problems and we have work to do, but things are generally on track. As is the historic process of EU integration. Statements about blocking negotiations are a big lie," he said.
Rama also spoke about the internal process in the Socialist Party, which is taking place across the country to elect leaders of the SP organizations. He said that this campaign is not only an organizational process, but also a way to communicate with supporters and citizens.
"We live in a time when it is becoming increasingly difficult to learn the truth or to obtain direct information about a fact that interests you. This campaign is also an opportunity for communication between us and those who support us or need to hear us," the Prime Minister emphasized.
