While debates were taking place in the Parliament on one of the most serious national security issues, that of the former director of SHISH, Vlora Hyseni, Socialist Party MP, Ilva Gjuzi, was filmed doing online "shopping" on her phone.
The footage, published on social media, shows the socialist MP sitting in the plenary session hall, while various products, apparently shoes or fashion items, are displayed on the phone screen, while the scandal involving the former head of the secret service is being discussed in the Parliament.
At a time when the opposition was demanding political accountability and clarifications for the suspected infiltration of crime into the highest structures of the state, footage of the MP using her phone to shop online has created the perception of open indifference to the parliamentary debate.
The video was shared ironically online, accompanied by comments such as "let the state fall, but without new shoes it won't be beaten."
